Delta posts each card's Headstart to your account, so leave it checked for a card you've held all year. Uncheck it for a card you're thinking of opening.

Earn rates used

Set from Delta's published 2026 rules. Change them here if Delta changes the program. When cash or miles rates differ between flights and Delta Vacations, the results split into separate lines.

  • Delta-marketed flights: $1 MQD per $1 of ticket price (base fare plus carrier surcharges, before taxes). Main Basic earns none.
  • Award tickets and upgrades with miles: $1 MQD per 100 miles redeemed.
  • Delta Vacations: $1 MQD per $1 of package price (taxes, fees, vouchers and Companion Certificate portions excluded); miles portion earns $1 per 100 miles.
  • Card MQD Boost: Reserve and Reserve Business earn $1 per $10 spent; Platinum and Platinum Business earn $1 per $20. Each card type gets a $2,500 Headstart. Gold and Blue cards earn no MQDs.
  • Partner flights earn by fare class and airline, so enter their MQDs directly. Use "Other" for car rentals, hotels or promo MQDs that aren't in pending yet.
